The Pride of Pawnee Takes on First Marching Band Competition in 18 years!

For the past two months, the Pride of Pawnee Marching Band has
been working on marching fundamentals, musical techniques,
marching formations and music for their production of “Into the
Storm.”  Several early morning rehearsal and Friday Night Football
game halftime performances have helped prepared them for their
first competition.

After 18 years, the Pride of Pawnee took the field at the Beggs
Invitational Marching Band competition Saturday, October 12, 2019.

“I can’t express how proud I am of these musicians.  They have come
so far in the last three years and I cannot wait to see what they do
next!  They’ve taken everything I’ve given them and they’ve run with
it!  This is a huge step for the Pawnee Band program and we are just
going to get better and better.” –Sean Gartner, Director of Bands

Leaving it all out on the field, the Pride ofPawnee did an outstanding
job.  With 21 bands from Oklahoma in total that attended the
competition, ranging from class 2A to 5A, we are very proud of
Pawnee placing 2nd in their class.

Parent/Student Portal

The new OSTP parent portal contains access to student's test scores throughout ES and MS, it does not contain HS student test scores.  Parents will need their student's DOB and STN (state testing number) to gain access to current and past testing information.  If a parent needs their student's STN, please contact Mrs. Womack at 918-762-3055.  We have included a Parent/Stuent Portal Help Guide below with detailed steps to help parents navigate the portal.
